WWWE Logo Hypertext Document

Hypertext is a method of organizing text, graphics and other kinds of data so that data elements point to one another, both within a single document and across other documents. Users can follow links in a non-linear fashion, as opposed to reading only line by line, page by page, in a predetermined order. Hypertext structure underlies the data on the World Wide Web.
